Heat Alarm Kidde Slick Wireless

Kidde's Slick wireless heat alarm 3SFW (previously 3SF23/9hi) has the unique fast fit base and screwless terminals (each alarm still needs connection to a local lighting circuit but interconnecting is wireless) and a simple fitting for the smoke alarm to slot-in fit. Installation or removal for maintenance takes a fraction of the time compared to a hard-wired alarm making the ideal for large housing projects, listed buildings or for those places where wiring is difficult. This 230V alarm becomes wireless with the simple addition of the wireless base. It can even be tested or hushed with the optional remote control.

Standard features include green and red LEDs as indicators, separate hush and test buttons, auto reset afer activation, latching LED to identify the initiating alarm and up to 6 months operation on the backup battery in the event of mains failure.

The Slick 3SFW (formerly 3SF23/9hi) is designed to go into alarm at 57 degrees Centigrade, a heat detector will not cause nuisance alarms from burnt toast and steam. The Slick wireless can be mixed with Kidde Slick, Kidde CO and Kidde Firex hard-wired alarms.

 

• Heat alarms are suitable for kitchens, garage and dusty rooms - a house should also have a combination of optical and ionisation

 

• Fixing requires two little screws and wallplugs (included) to screw to ceiling and connection into a local lighting circuit with the screwless terminal blocks.

Inter-connecting the alarms is wireless when using the wireless base option for each alarm
