General Info:
Metal grip barrier primer is a cost effective single pack, fast drying high build modified alkyd primer for both new and old metal surfaces and is ideal as a versatile primer finish for a complete application in metal fabrication. Readily available in a wide range of colours, this product works well on dry internal structures of buildings and provides good resistance to undercutting from damage points.
One of the key advantages of metal grip barrier primer is that it can be over coated with chlorinated rubber and other alkyd systems as well as the polyurethane products found on this site. It can also be used as a primer beneath intumescent coatings.
