Description

High build polyurethane resin industrial concrete floor paint with anti-slip properties is a specialized coating designed for heavy-duty industrial environments where durability, chemical resistance, and safety are paramount. Here's a breakdown of its key features and benefits:
Polyurethane Resin Base: Polyurethane resin provides excellent durability and chemical resistance, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments. It forms a tough, protective layer over the concrete surface, enhancing its longevity and performance.
High Build Formulation: The high build nature of the paint means it can be applied in thicker coats, allowing for better coverage and filling of surface imperfections such as cracks and pitting. This results in a smoother and more uniform finish, improving both aesthetics and functionality.

Suitable Substrates:
Can be used on standard concrete, metal and wood as well as most other porous substrates. Power floated and polished concrete floors must be ground using a floor grinder prior to application of the primer/sealer linked in the application section. Not recommended for use on self-levelling floors as they tend to be non-porous.
We recommend bare concrete floors are primed with 1 coat " polyurethane floor primer and sealer" to ensure good penetration and adhesion.
Spreading Rate (Coverage):
Approximately 5 - 7 square meters per liter, per coat. Coverage rates vary depending on surface area and porosity.
20 Liter tin = Approximately 60 M² with 2 coats.
5 Liter tin = Approximately 15 M² with 2 coats.
Drying Time:
Under normal circumstances, it should be touch dry in 6-8 hours (at 15°c) if well ventilated and conditions are dry.
Chemical Resistance: The polyurethane resin provides resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including oils, solvents, acids, and alkalis, protecting the concrete substrate from corrosion and degradation caused by chemical exposure.
Abrasion Resistance: The tough, resilient nature of polyurethane makes the paint highly resistant to abrasion, ensuring that the floor maintains its integrity even in high-traffic areas subjected to heavy machinery, foot traffic, or frequent vehicle movement.
