Hush with Optical Smoke Detector

The battery-powered optical smoke detector with hush detects the formation of smoke with its sensitive photoelectric system to raise the alarm and provide an early warning for the potential presence of fire. Unlike the old-fashioned ionisation versions, the optical smoke detector is less likely to trigger a false alarm caused by steam from a bathroom or kitchen.

Featuring a handy test and hush button which silences the alarm and reduces the unit’s sensitivity for a ten minute period, the large button is also used to check that the smoke alarm is functioning correctly. Supplied with fixings and a 9v battery as standard, the optical smoke detector includes a warning LED, produces an 85-decibel alarm, has a low battery indicator, and is compliant to EN14604:2005.

• Suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and landings.

• Fixing requires two little screws and wallplugs (included) to screw to the ceiling.
