Older roof tiles also lose their water repellent properties and will eventually become porous as the elements gradually decay the original factory applied surface coating. This will lead to your roof tiles retaining moisture and encouraging the growth of unsightly moss, green moulid and lichens.
Acrylic based waterproof roof tile coating contains a fungicide to help protect against the disfiguring effect of moulid growths on its film and uses the same premium acrylic polymers as those applied to modern roof tiles so you can be sure of a waterproof type and highly durable finish for years to come.
