Installation Guidelines

Before installation, it is essential to coat all faces and edges of both the frames and the doors with a high-quality sealer to protect against moisture ingress. Neglecting this step may result in shrinkage, warping, twisting, or splitting of the frame and doors.

For optimal results, avoid using water-based stains, paints, or varnishes. When installing:

• Brick Wall: Line the brick wall with polythene between the brickwork and the frame.
• Stud Wall: The plasterboard faced stud wall opening must be lined with wood to which the frame can be attached.

Should the wall thickness be less than the frame width (133mm), the frame width can be adjusted accordingly.
