Description
A standard tool for tackling wildfires, the wildfire rakehoe – also known as a McLeod tool – has a two-sided blade and a long fibreglass handle. Designed to rake fire lines with the teeth, the sharpened hoe edge is suitable for cutting branches and turf and well as removing debris from the fire path. Easy to collapse for easy transportation to remote locations, it features a safety pin to prevent the tool head from rotating during use. With a corrosion and rot resistant handle and galvanised steel forestry rakehoe head, it’s plenty tough-enough to withstand environmental extremes and the long handle allows you to keep your distance. Ideal for holiday parks, country walking routes, camp sites, farms and other outside spaces, it’s ideal for tackling a small grass fire before it escalates in size and severity. With a handy clip, sold separately, making it easy to store and mount the wildfire rakehoe, don’t forget to check out our complete range of wildfire equipment. |
